When I was growing up, my mother would let me flip through her Western Art books. I would observe intricately detailed paintings of beautiful and unashamed, full-figured, flawless nude women; their skin untouched and free of make-up or tint from damaging tanning bed UV rays. They were appreciated for their ability to be beautiful in their raw, female form. What we see in magazines and in new media forms now is not an image of “perfection”. It is the unfortunate female evolution based on false idealism. Instead of seeing women who are idolised for their natural shell, all we see are bone thin, tanned women with fake breasts and bank accounts drained by the most ridiculous of things like $200 pairs of jeans from their favourite brand name store.
Beautiful women everywhere… know that your breasts are not a strictly sexual organ that make you slutty or make you an object to easily be taken advantage of; they are shaped by nature to allow you to give life and comfort to your own organic creations and should be welcomed. Your hips make you gorgeously feminine. Your makeup-free face is not bare an unattractive; it is stunningly pure. Your skin is not pasty and unevenly-toned.
Embrace every single second you have in your own unique form. Women will change. Public outlooks will change. Social media will change. But you can proudly say that you didn’t give in to the unnatural image projected by a fantastical nation.
